About Sheralee (she/her)

Sheralee is a registered psychologist (AHPRA, AAPi) who believes therapy is a place to slow down and find your footing. She brings a calm and genuine curiosity about the ways people make sense of their world. Her style is collaborative and deeply relational, rooted in the belief that healing happens when people feel truly seen, heard and respected.

Sheralee values curiosity, warmth, and empathy, and is committed to using evidence-based approaches in a way that feels tailored and responsive. She believes therapy should suit the person and she welcomes open communication so you can shape the pace, direction, and style of the work together. Your choices, values, and lived experiences guide the process, and Sheralee works alongside you as a compassionate and steady partner in your growth.

Sheralee works from an intersectional, trauma-informed, and neuro-affirming lens. She is deeply committed to providing affirming, person-centred care for queer and gender-diverse communities. Her approach honours the whole person: your history, relationships, environment, and the wisdom you already hold.

Sheralee draws primarily on Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and mind–body frameworks. Her background includes sexual health, gender-affirming care, sexual violence prevention, acute and chronic pain management, and extensive work in sexual wellbeing and intimacy. She welcomes people navigating a wide range of challenges, with particular interest in sexual wellbeing, identity exploration, and interpersonal relationship concerns.

At the heart of Sheralee's practice is a simple intention: to offer a therapeutic relationship that feels grounding, compassionate, and spacious enough for whatever you carry; somewhere you can be fully yourself.

Sheralee acknowledges the traditional custodians of the lands on which she works, the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nation. She pays respect to Elders, past and present, and to all Aboriginal and Torres Straight Islander people. She acknowledges the deep wisdom of indigenous ways of healing and the timeless connection to country. She respects their sovereignty and recognises that the lands and waters across this continent and it's islands were stolen, never ceded.
